Meet the Panel

Rick Clark is a leading voice on college admission and the Common Application. For 22 years, he has held admissions roles at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he now serves as Executive Director of Strategic Student Access. He co-authored The Truth about College Admission and its companion workbook, and he created the Georgia Tech Admission Blog and the College Admission Brief podcast. An Atlanta native, he holds a B.A. from UNC–Chapel Hill and an M.Ed. from Georgia State.

Paul Kanarek is a veteran education executive and admissions expert. He served as CEO of Collegewise and previously spent three decades at The Princeton Review, where he helped found and lead the California business and later served as a senior vice president. Today, he advises education companies and speaks widely on testing and admissions.
