Testing

Why are some schools moving back towards test-required? Should your student plan to submit test scores and how do colleges evaluate applications without them?

Classes & Grades

How do honors, AP, IB, and dual enrollment classes factor into the process? Is the rigor of courses more important than grades or vice versa?

Extracurriculars

How should students use their time outside of school? Students are told to find their "passions" but how is a high school student supposed to already know what they love to do?

College Visits

When should students start thinking about campus visits? How can you use your time on campus wisely, and what can you learn from a visit that you might not be able to learn otherwise?`

Essays

What are colleges looking for in students’ essays? What topics and details can make you stand out in the admissions process?
