Description

How can you help light a motivational flame for your students? Can you tap into your students' reserves of intrinsic motivation? Should we use rewards or negative consequences to motivate? Or is better to dabble with rewards or negative consequences to get that motivational fire going? Can shifts in your language affect your students' motivation levels? In this session we'll discuss the language of motivation, the varying motivational profiles of students, and techniques that may help you be more effective with your motivationally challenged students.
