Our private tutoring package is the most effective way to prepare. Private tutoring has many advantages over traditional classroom-based programs. With one-on-one tutoring, students receive 100% of the tutor's attention and all lessons are taught at the students' learning pace. All hours included in each package are for direct one-on-one instruction.

More Information About The SSAT
The SSAT (Secondary School Entrance Exam) is a multiple-choice aptitude test given to students in grades 5-11 who are applying to private and/or boarding schools. The test score is one aspect of the private school admissions process. For years, ATS has been helping students prepare for and succeed on this exam. For students preparing for the upper or lower level, SSAT ATS offers 9-, 12-, or 15-hour in-home private tutoring packages with one of our qualified, personable tutors. ATS students have the advantages of a specifically designed curriculum, baseline and mock tests, online progress reports, and trained, experienced tutors.
All areas of the SSAT are covered: analogies, synonyms, reading comprehension, math and even essay writing. Tutors will use the results from their students' baseline exams to focus on the specific needs of each student. Strategies are taught to increase student performance and reduce test anxiety. Baseline and practice tests familiarize students with timing and test structure and are administered in-home or may be arranged at our office.
